The Shire Run Carnival is proud to have partnered with Love Mercy Foundation. Co-founded by local Olympic runner, Eloise Wellings, Love Mercy's mission is to empower communities in Northern Uganda to overcome poverty caused by the horrors of war. By purchasing some event merchandise and/or by entering the 6km event, you are supporting Love Mercy's efforts with a range of projects which increase access to food security, health care, clean water and income generation for families after decades of civil war.

Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club provides essential water safety and first aid services to our event. Founded in 1907, Cronulla SLSC is an iconic part of the Sutherland Shire community, providing volunteer patrolling services to keep Cronulla Beach safe for beach goers. The club also provides an incredible junior activities nipper program for U6-U14 and also has an outstanding history of success at State, National and World Lifesaving Championships.
