MARSHAL LOCATIONS/TIMES​
Participants are to marshal at the following locations no later than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled start time:

100M SWIM COURSE (8-9 YRS INDIVIDUAL RACE) 200M SWIM COURSE (all events except 8-9 Yrs Individual Race)
WHO CAN ENTER?
-
The NSW Junior Aquathlon Championships is open to participants from all abilities aged between 8 and 15 years of age (as at 31st December 2025). We strongly encourage participants from athletics, swimming and surf life saving clubs to enter the event.

There is NO course cut off time

RELAY TEAM COMPOSITION/LOGISTICS
-
Relays are to be entered by one person on behalf of the two team members (one person will swim, the other will run). You will need to create a team name during the registration process.
-
It is recommended that your team is from the same triathlon, surf lifesaving, athletics or swimming club (but this is not compulsory).
-
If you have a mixed team for the relays (1 male, 1 female), they are to compete in the MALE category.
-
If both members of your team are in different age groups, the team will be assigned to the older age group (e.g. a team with an 8 year old and a 10 year old will compete in the 10/11 Yrs division).
-
The transition area will be the changeover zone between runner and swimmer and then from swimmer to runner (the timing chip must be transferred to the LEFT ankle of your relay partner in the transition zone).

EQUIPMENT NEEDED
The following equipment is recommended for participation in the NSW Junior Aquathlon Championships:

Swimming costume/triathlon suit
-
Goggles
-
Swim Cap (compulsory to wear- bring your own)
-
Running shoes (with lock laces to assist with speed in transition)
-
Running vest/top (torso to be covered on the run course)- triathlon suit, surf club rash vest or t-shirt
-
Towel for transition (optional)
TIMING CHIP COLLECTION
-
Participants will receive a timing chip which is to be worn on their LEFT ankle.
-
Timing Chip Collection will be available on the day from the bib collection area (next to the Bonna Point Reserve playground) from 5:45am.
-
Please aim to arrive by 8:30am to allow time for parking, registration/timing chip collection and to be ready for the compulsory athlete briefing and walk the course.

​AGE CATEGORIES
​
The NSW Junior Aquathlon Championships are offered in the following age groups for both male & female (individuals and 2 person relays):
8-9 Years
10-11 Years
12-13 Years
14-15 Years
Age is determined as at 31st December 2025.
PRIZES​
​
NSW Junior Aquathlon Championship medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age category (male & female)
​The Presentation will take place at the Kurnell Rec Club at 1:00pm.
​

RESULTS

Full results for all participants will be available from https://www.multisportaustralia.com.au/ as soon as they are finalised after the completion of the event.

Reporting a Result Error: If you believe that a result is missing or is incorrect, please report it as soon as possible at the event to Multisport Australia staff. If noticed after the event, you can report it via the “Report An Error” link at the bottom of the relevant results page on https://www.multisportaustralia.com.au
