COURSE DETAILS

Start and Finish at Bonna Point Reserve, Kurnell

The flat course travels along the Kurnell Foreshore path, boasting spectacular water views

The 3km event is a ONE LAP course (1.5km out, 1.5km back)

ABILITY 

• The Shire Run Carnival 3km event is suitable for ALL levels, including walkers

• There will be NO course cut off time.

BIB COLLECTION

• Bibs will include an embedded timing chip and are to be worn on the FRONT of your running top/singlet.

• Bib Collection will be available on the day from the bib collection area (next to the Bonna Point Reserve playground) from 5:15am.

• Please aim to arrive 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your event to allow for parking and bib collection

AGE CATEGORIES

​

Age Groups (male & female): 12/Under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ (age as at 31st December 2025).

 

PRIZES

 

Shire Run Carnival placegetter medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age category (male & female)​

 

PLACEGETTER PRIZES AND RESULTS ARE BASED ON NET TIME (from the time you cross the timing point at the start to the time you cross the finish line)

The presentation will take place at approximately 11:45am

RESULTS

• Full results for all participants will be available from https://www.multisportaustralia.com.au/ as soon as they are finalised after the completion of the event.

• Reporting a Result Error: If you believe that a result is missing or is incorrect, please report it as soon as possible at the event to Multisport Australia staff. If noticed after the event, you can report it via the “Report An Error” link at the bottom of the relevant results page on https://www.multisportaustralia.com.au
