ABOUT THE EVENT

The Sydney Beach Flags Showdown will bring together some of Australia's most explosive athletes on sand to Cronulla Beach, to battle it out for bragging rights, cash prizes and the Title of Sydney Beach Flags Showdown Champion.

SCHEDULE​

3:00pm- U13 Male & Female Beach Flags Showdown

3:30pm- U17 Male & Female Beach Flags Showdown

​

4:00pm- OPEN Elite Male & Female Beach Flags Showdown

​

Presentations will be at Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club at 4:30pm

MARSHAL LOCATIONS/TIMES​
Participants will be required to marshal no later than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled start time at Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club.​

WHO CAN ENTER? 

The Sydney Beach Flags Showdown event is Invitation only, as we are strictly capped on numbers.​

UNIFORM/ATTIRE
 

Please bring your surf life saving club cap and apparel (if you have these items).

​

CHECK IN

​

All athletes are required to check in at Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of their event.

​AGE CATEGORIES/PRIZES
​
$300 will be awarded to the winner of the Open Male & Open Female Beach Flags. $200 will be awarded to 2nd place Open Male & Open Female Beach Flags.

 

A $200 lucky draw prize will be awarded to ONE other Open athlete.

 

TOP 3 Male & Female in each age division will be awarded medals- U13, U17 and OPEN Male & Female.

ENTRY FEES
The entry fee for athletes competing is $30.
