  • We also will have a time allocated for Wheelchair athletes and Frame Runners- please contact us via email to enter this category- info@shireruncarnival.com.au

  • There will be NO course cut off time.

BIB COLLECTION

  • Bibs will include an embedded timing chip and are to be worn on the FRONT of your running top/singlet.

  • Bib Collection will be available on the day from the bib collection area (in the undercover area next to the track) from 7:15am.

  • Please aim to arrive 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your event to allow for parking and bib collection

START PROCESS

  • All runners/walkers will be called to the marshalling area (outside the fence near the 100m start line) 5 minutes prior to the start time.

  • Please follow instructions of the marshals as to when to move through the gate and to the start line.

  • There will be 2 lanes in use and participants will start one at a time, approximately 7-10 seconds apart (time trial style). Lane 10 will be the main running lane and Lane 9 will be an overtaking lane, should it be needed.

  • Note: Dependant on numbers, runners may be called based on specific estimated finish times to make for a safe and enjoyable event (if you are unsure, please start at the back).

  • NOTE: All times/results will be based on net time (Net time is determined from the time you cross the timing point at the start to the time you cross the finish line)
